Phóng sự Khóa Thiền Vipassana 10 ngày (S.N. Goenka)
1. Anapana - focusing on the breath and the sensations of the breath. This is what we practiced for the first 3 days of the course to help sharpen the mind and prepare for the actual Vipassana technique.
2. Vipassana - observing the sensations of the body without craving, revoltion or any kind of reaction at all. By observing the sensations, you train your subconscious mind at the deepest level to change its habit pattern of reacting. You gain a deeper understanding of "dhamma" the law of nature and that all things are constantly changing and nothing is permanent. Therefore, we should not become attached to any sensation, no matter how pleasant or unpleasant, because the sensation will not last. The law of nature is universal and applies to everything.
3. Metta - this part of the meditation in which you focus your thoughts on love, kindness and compassion for all beings.
My Recommendations: 1. Find a comfortable sitting position the first day you are there, so you can begin focusing right away on the meditation instead of how uncomfortable you are.
2. Don't be afraid to talk with the assistant teachers about any questions or confusion you have about the technique.
3. Don't beat yourself up when you find your mind wandering or are having a hard time focusing.
Anapana Sati meditation on Breathing - Vipassana meditation : s n goenka
Anapana meditation is the observation of natural, normal respiration as it enters or leaves the nostrils. It is a simple technique that helps calm and concentrate the mind.
Anapanasati, the meditation on in-and-out breathing, is the first subject of meditation expounded by the Buddha in the Maha-satipatthana Sutta, the Great Discourse on the Foundations of Mindfulness. The Buddha laid special stress on this meditation, for it is the gateway to enlightenment and Nibbana adopted by all the Buddhas of the past as the very basis for their attainment of Buddhahood. When the Blessed One sat at the foot of the Bodhi Tree and resolved not to rise until he had reached enlightenment, he took up anapana sati and Vipassana as his subject of meditation. On the basis of this, he attained the four jhanas, recollected his previous lives, fathomed the nature of samsara, aroused the succession of great insight knowledges, and at dawn, while 100,000 world systems trembled, he attained the limitless wisdom of a Fully Enlightened Buddha.
The AnapanaSati and the full Vipassana Meditation is taught in meditation centers all over the world as taught by vipassana meditation teacher s n goenka.

Your commitment is rlleay nice. Yesterday also, I did not have time for meditation but I had a rlleay nice yoga practice at the Institute. It was challenging!Today nothing! we had a Christmas party this morning and another in the evening! So it will be for tomorrow maybe. But something changed in me these last weeks. I know my boundaries and I am not ashamed anymore to speak about it! And somehow it is a release. I can explain what exctely the day we will meet. Have a nice evening, Love,
